Sailor’s RAK Week.

Kia Ora, I’m going to be explaining what we have been doing throughout our class topic called RAK

{Random Acts Of Kindness}. RAK week is all about caring for others, and showing love to each other. This week is important for our school due to the amount of negativity and bullying that is all throughout our school. This RAK week starts on the 17th of February every year. We gave out cookies to students and teachers, we wrote hidden messages on rocks for people to find, we scrubbed graffiti off of signs, light poles and fences, we also picked up rubbish on the way down and the way back from going down town. This was a very powerful impact on not only the people who received love and kindness but people that gave it. Their facial expression was surprised, joy, and exciting which was very cool to see that we made someone happy, I think this touched every dominant of Te Whare Tapa Wha. I thoroughly enjoyed doing this for our people because it made them happy, and by seeing them light up with joy made me feel happy as well.

Static images

In English we have been doing static images. Static images are just images that don’t move. They include greeting cards, posters, slides, photographs and many more.
